If you have poor picture quality, it may be something as simple as re-aligning your existing antenna or upgrading your antenna points. Q Dot has the latest in digital reception test equipment to ensure we can solve your picture problems.

If you need a new antenna, Q Dot can advise you on the best requirements to suit your situation. All our antennas are not only Australian made, but manufactured here in Melbourne. This means that they are specifically designed for the changeable Victorian weather conditions and are made from heavy duty extruded aluminium, (which is significantly stronger than the rolled aluminium used by many other antenna manufacturers), and come with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

If you’re finding that your signal is too low, even with a new antenna or you want lots of TV points, then you may need an amplifier (booster) fitted. Q Dot can provide and install a range of different boosters to suit your needs.

If you’re looking to upgrade to Freeview, Q Dot can supply a range of Freeview set top boxes. We will also install Freeview which includes a demonstration on how to operate it.

With the current change from analogue to digital (i.e. Freeview) some people are experiencing problems with their TV reception. If you’re getting ‘poor or no signal’ come up on your TV, or you’re finding that the picture freezes, this is likely to be caused by low signal, you may not need a new antenna as some technicians are telling people, instead a simple re-alignment or reconnection of cables may boost your signals enough to solve the problem.
